High‑Temperature‑Resistant Modified Polypropylene
The continuous‑use temperature of conventional polypropylene generally does not exceed 100 °C. Through glass‑fiber reinforcement, crystallinity improvement, introduction of rigid chain segments or addition of heat‑resistant modifiers, the heat‑deflection temperature of PP can be raised to 135‑145 °C, and it can even withstand higher temperatures for short‑term exposure.
Main Applications
It is mainly applied to automotive under‑hood components, microwave‑safe tableware, rice cooker housings and bases, heat‑dissipating parts for electronic equipment, and sanitary products frequently exposed to hot water. It addresses the softening and deformation issues of ordinary PP under heated conditions.
